This Dolphin Tour boat can carry six people, which is a lot less than larger boats with a capacity for up to 175 tourists. Larger groups can create a lot of noise which disrupts the dolphins and drives them away. It is important to note that we can quickly and expertly get you into the water without scaring away the dolphins.
The boat has all the equipment you need to snorkel at no additional cost. Capri Suns will be available on the boat, as well as complimentary bottled water. Bring your own beverages, snacks, or BYOB.
This trip is perfect for those who want to get up close and personal with dolphins.
Your excursion will take you to Panama City Pass and show you the area where St. Andrews Bay converges with the Gulf of Mexico. We will guide you in how to interact and interact with dolphins.
We had a wonderful trip. The captain was amazing. He even showed us a jellyfish that doesn't sting. The shell island had many shells so we stopped there. Everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back.
Once you have reached your snorkeling spot your captain will be with you in the water to guide you on how to find seashells and other marine life. You can choose how you wish to spend your tour time, so it is as personalized as you would like.
Our 2 hour private dolphin tour we will reserve the boat for just your family or group and the captain. Coast Guard regulations state the maximum passengers allowed is 13, including infants and children.
Private tours are available to reserve the entire boat only for you. This is your personalized tour. You can personalize your tour. A private charter may only be used by six people.
Our Dolphin & Island Tours typically last for three hours. The departure time varies depending on season. At the moment, we leave the dock around 9:00 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.
We will bring you as close to dolphins and as safe as possible. The dolphins will decide how close or far they want to be able to interact with them. We practice passive observation, which simply means we let the dolphins approach us. Our dolphins in St. Andrews Bay can be extremely playful and interactive. Many of our guests have memorable encounters with them.
If conditions permit, guests are permitted to go in the water if dolphins are nearby. Safety is our primary concern. Your captain will guide you on how to safely snorkel around marine mammals.
You can rent a pontoonboat to be your guide for the day. Pontoon boats are available to rent for those who want to own their boat. The Map includes directions to the most popular snorkeling areas, sandbars, common dolphin zones, and more.
Captain Jack was extraordinary. He was extremely informed. He helped us choose the most important thing and we chose dolphin sightings for the majority.
Out of the water, you’ll see a huge variety of birds, ranging from raptors like bald eagles and ospreys, to shorebirds like great blue herons and egrets, to seabirds like magnificent frigatebirds and terns. We also sometimes see deer on the island.
It's all worth it once you get there because the water is the most beautiful I've ever seen. The water is so clear that it feels like you're swimming in a pool. We had no idea what to expect, so we went with the intention of spending a few hours on the island. Come prepared to spend the entire day!
Dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the island's lake, marsh rabbits, racoons, and other wildlife can be found on Shell Island.
Wear nothing but a swimsuit. Dolphins have extremely sensitive skin, and because you will be able to touch them during your interaction, we recommend that you refrain from wearing sunscreen, oils, or perfumes.
